Desc · Track 1: One of the greatest tracks from one of the greate… More Track 1: One of the greatest tracks from one of the greatest writing partnerships of all time, Hal David & Burt Bacharach, performed by one of the greatest singers. Track 2: From one of the greatest albums of all time, Pet Sounds. Very difficult to choose just one track from an album that features so many classics. Track 3: The most influential female artist of her generation and one of her many classic albums. As Prince sang in Starfish and Coffee: "...and it was Joni singing: Help me, I think I'm falling..." Track 4: Bowie is my favourite artist of all time. Impossible to choose just one song but the album this comes from has always been in my top 5 and this is such a classic. Track 5: If only Prince were still making albums like this. My favourite song of the eighties. Track 6: I think The Seldom Seen Kid is the best album of the decade and this is one of the best tracks from it. Wonderful, uplifting stuff. I wish the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 would stop using it in the background of every programme they advertise!! Track 7: One of my favourite bands and the album that got me into them. It was either this or Fake Plastic Trees but I thought this would bring my 7 to a great close. Apologies to Dylan, Miles Davis, The Blue Nile, Kate Bush and thousands more that could/should have made the list. · Less
