Séverine, aka SQL Girl
Artist Liaison Manager
As a kid, Sev was already in music, dancing like crazy while her Dad was playing "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple - "We all did...no?...ok, maybe only me then...damn!"
Growing up with Status Quo, INXS and French pop/rock - "we do have good stuff!" - she went through a really obscure period of cheesy dance - "Errare humanum est..." - to finally go back to her roots: rock and metal. Even so she also loves electronic music, pop and a touch of hip hop... a bit like a human jukebox really!
Through the years, she developed a keen interest in fashion and design, which led her to Paris and a business school. Always wandering between fashion and music, Sev finally ended up at We7, where she is in charge of the Unsigned Artists, the Spotlight and some technical stuff like creating reports and putting new content online - "cause I'm a bit of a geek!"
TopEmily, aka Dancing Queen

Em loves nothing more than dancing late into the night listening to good music; a rolling bassline is the one that gets her every time and as long as it makes her move, she's happy. As she can't do that all day every day she's always looking at ways to surround her self with music and what better way to do that than to work in the industry its self!
Growing up listening to the likes of Elvis Presley, Billy Paul and the Kinks on her parents jukebox, her musical tastes vary from the rock and roll greats to the latest in dance music.
Spinning a few on the ones and twos in her spare time, she now finds herself mixing house, techno and electro. However, when she's on the other side of the decks, she likes anything from drum and bass, dub step and reggae to checking out cool indie bands like MGMT, Mark Ronson and Santogold. She loves new music and We7 is the perfect place to be when brand new artists pop up!
TopColin, aka The Music Geek

Ever since he was given a tape of The Sex Pistols when he was twelve, Colin knew he wanted to pursue a life in music. After failing to set the world alight as the next Jimi Hendrix, he did what most unsuccessful musicians do and pursued a career in the music business, shunning more stable career choices in the process.
As We7's resident music geek, he spends most of his time listening to new music. Occasionally, he decides to do some writing as well. Colin likes all kinds of music - from pop to rock and back again - but goes weak at the knees for obscure krautrock from the 1970s.
Colin's favourite ever gig was seeing The Fall play the last night of the Hammersmith Palais. His favourite food is pasta. His one ambition is to learn and play the second guitar solo on "November Rain" by Guns 'n' Roses. Note for note. On top of a big mountain.
