Stuck in a cube farm wasting your talents writing software no one cares about?

Come and join us at We7! We've got more web 2.0 buzzwords than you can shake a stick at. There's a huge stack of really interesting technical challenges to solve, as we aim to make We7 into the best free music site on the web.

We'll give you a big shiny computer (you need to be able to play Unreal with the rest of the team after all), some stock options, and a place on our Air Hockey ladder. In exchange, we'll expect you to bring the following to the mix:

• You'll be really bright (a substantial proportion of our current team are top-end Oxford/Cambridge graduates).
• You will have at least a couple of years experience in real commercial software development.
• You'll have a rock-solid understanding of object-oriented programming.

The specific roles we're looking to fill are:

Java Web Engineers

Help us build the main body of the web site. You'll get involved at every stage of the process from understanding requirements/user feedback, through building the Java application logic and web pages, to testing and deployment on our live site. To be successful you'll need to know your way around as many of the following as possible: Java, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Postgres, Lucene, Linux. For extra bonus points, you'll also be a Javascript/CSS wizard.
